Apologies - the Feast Day Mass at Our Lady's Swynnerton will be at 6 pm not 7. Wednesday masses at Meir, Stoke-on-Trent, will resume the following week (7pm).

Latin Mass Feast of Ss Peter & Paul 29 June

After some problems, messages, hopefully, will now be displayed again on this blog. There will not be the usual 7.00 pm Latin Mass at St. Augustine’s, Meir, Stoke, this Wednesday. There is a trad. Latin Mass for the Feast of Ss Peter & Paul, 29 June, at 7 pm at Our Lady’s, Swynnerton.

CONTINUING ATTEMPT / MASSES SITUATION

There seems to be some life in the blog, but I'm not convinced it is working again. However, for the moment, the situation regarding Masses (also listed in LMS magazine and LMS blog)is that at Our Lady's Swynnerton the parish Mass at 6pm every Sunday continues, and the 10am fortnightly Mass on Saturday morning id resumed,next is Oct. 2. There is a weekly Mass at St. Augustine's, Meir, Stoke, each Wednesday evening at 7pm. Fr. Stefak celebrated his first Missa Cantata last Wednesday, and there is scheduled to be another next Wednesday, 29 Sept.

For months I have not been able to post the messages that has been the feature of this blog for over ten years. This is an attempt to revive the practice.

Staffordshire Neighbours Appeal

Paul Boston is trying to get a regular Tradiitonal Mass in a village near Stafford. He is seeking support to present to his parish priest (do not have to be villagers), and has set up a contact email address: staffordsummorumpontificum@protonmail.com. He would welcome any interest, and for the establishment of Latin masses in mid- and south Staffs.

MASS at OULTON ABBEY CHAPEL Feast of ALL SOULS

There will be a Traditinal Rite Mass for the Feast of the Holy Souls Oulton Abbey chapel on 2 Nov. at mid-day, 12 noon. Our thanks to Fr. Regan, OSB, priest-in-residence.

Sunday's Mass: Swynnerton

This Sunday's Mass(6pm)at Our Lady's, Swynnerton, will be celebrated by Fr. Goodman or Fr. Stefak (who celebrates the Traditional Latin Mass Augustine's, Meir, Stoke on Mass at St. Augustine's, Meir, Stoke each Wednesday evening at 7 pm). The good news is that Fr. Chavasse will be back the following Sunday, 18 Oct.
